Milton Keynes.Costco Store in Kingston, Miton Keynes organised  Fun day  to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee  on 5th June 2012, rom 12:00 am to 16:00 pm.   Costco team invited everyone for a day of family fun, games, magic and surprises.  Our club was invited to man two stalls of games which they will provide.  The games were – splat the rat, coconut shy, hook the duck , splat the Cans etc.    We selected coconut shy and Splat the coke cans.   we have generated 70 pounds for charity. Sponsored Fun Walk : Sunday 13th May 2012 This sponsored walk was organised by the Lions Club of Milton Keynes Central to raise money for two Hospices – The Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes and St. Luke’s Hospice in Harrow. The walk covering about five miles was over easy to moderate terrain through the countryside and along the Grand Union Canal. The course started at Isworth Farm, Cosgrove, where participants reported to register. A new Leo club came to Milton Keynes on 13 February 2013 when 11 charter members celebrated the organization of their new Milton Keynes Central Leo Club at Double tree Hilton Hotel at 8:00 pm . The Lions Club of Milton Keynes Central sponsored the new club for young people, ages (11-17). Leo Ragini Jethra has been elected to serve as the first president of the new club, and Richa Shah will serve as the first vice-president.
